The show rounded off with Ho Kin Wah’s knitwear collection titl’d “Fashion Evolution” for 1997, the year of political significance to the Hong Kongers. The collection’s a gud showcase for the designer’s brilliant craftsmanship. The chunky knit off-shoulder jumper in embellish’d stitch and the long knit coat full of decorative details show a hint of the knit-master, Sonia Rykiel’s design. The knit hats and ear covers with which Ho’s models were accessoriz’d make yu feel the warmth frm the Arctic winter. The background projection featurin’ the image of Arctic snow had clearly indicated where the designer seeks his inspiration.
