Taking the opportunity of this Year of the Dragon, widely believed to be the most auspicious year in the Chinese zodiac cycle which comes only once every 12 years, luxury brands have been coming in droves to launch their Year of the Dragon special edition products to boost business (remember my previous post on my Taiwan-born, New York-based designer friend, Jade Chiu’s 3Dragons™ collection?). Being a fashion forward Swiss watch brand which has long been associated with youth, pioneering style, premium quality and affordable luxury, Swatch, without exception, has joined the crowd to grab a slice of the cake by launching its unique and exclusive limited edition “Year of the Dragon” collection completely reflecting the brand’s youthful and modern personality combined with the iconic features of traditional Chinese culture, which surely cannot be found elsewhere. By now you should know what to add to your list of must-have fashion accessories if you are looking to create an individualistic style statement.
The “Year of the Dragon” watch features a fierce yet revered Chinese dragon flying through misty clouds high above the raging sea, which is a popular scene in Chinese scroll paintings. The blue and white color palettes inspired by Chinese blue and white porcelain perfectly enhance the oriental and exotic style.
Each limited edition Dragon watch comes attractively packaged in a deluxe gift box with a cut-out dragon design.
Get this exceptional limited edition “Year of the Dragon” watch here in Swatch online store for your friends and family and wish them exuberantly joy all year long full of luck, pride and oriental glitz and glamor.

Muff.
Cool colorway
Indeed. The blue and white color palettes are inspired by Chinese blue and white Qing Hwa porcelain https://la-mode-by.gvmiao.com/2010/02/oriental-fascination-the-beauty-of-porcelain-part-ii-%E2%80%93-designer-brands-get-inspird-by-chinese-blue-and-white-qing-hwa-porcelain/, a perfect color combo.
Interesting to see that it is cool blue and emerging from the sea, not fiery red and emerging from a billowing cloud of smoke!
Yes I guess that makes a difference between the revered oriental dragon and the western dragon which is a symbol of evil.
